Actor Han Jin-hee revealed the story of losing his 7-year-old grandson to leukemia.
On the 5th, a new video was released on the YouTube channel 'Song Seung-hwan's Wonderful Life' titled 'Actor Han Jin-hee's Last Episode (The Story That Kept the Scene During a Sad Family History).'
On that day, Song Seung-hwan said, 'From what I heard, you had a heartbreaking experience about ten years ago. Your grandson passed away from leukemia. I heard you received that news while filming, and it must have been tough for you, but I heard you continued filming until the end.'
Han Jin-hee explained, 'I was too busy. I was working on three dramas at the same time. I didn't want to say, 'I need to leave for personal reasons,' so I didn't. But I don't know how it got out, but if he were alive now, he would be a college student.'
He stated that the reason he did not inform the production team of the bereavement and completed the filming was because, 'That's a personal matter for me; it's not the broadcasting company's issue. It's my job, so I had to keep that buried.'
Additionally, Han Jin-hee mentioned that before his grandchild passed away, he had a fortune told by actress Lee Mi-young's nephew, saying, 'They said he would live in more than 50 famous places. But that friend would die. They also said, 'When his younger brother is born, he will be a great child.' Truthfully, the grandchild died, and a few years later, the younger brother was born. The younger brother is in the 5th grade but can do anything.'
Han Jin-hee added, 'I met Lee Mi-young a while ago. When I mentioned that I wanted to have my nephew's fortune told, she said, 'He doesn't tell fortunes anymore.'
