The mixed-gender group 'All Day Project' member Ani (born Moon Seoyoon, 23) has garnered attention by revealing her debut process.
On the 5th, comedian Jang Doyoun hosted the YouTube web entertainment show 'Salon Drip 2,' where Ani from All Day Project appeared and talked about her debut process.
Ani, known to the public as the eldest daughter of Shinsegae Chairman Jeong Yookyung, said about her debut opportunity, "I became a trainee after auditioning for The Black Label (the agency)," and added, "While studying in the U.S., I attended online classes and sent evaluation videos to the company for feedback for four years. Whenever I came back during vacation, I went to practice in Korea."
Earlier, when Jang Doyoun asked, "Is there any nagging you've heard the most from your parents?" Ani responded, "It's too noisy when I practice singing or dancing at home. They told me that if I had worked as hard on something else, I would have built a house by now," drawing laughter.
She further mentioned, "When I first said I wanted to be a singer, they didn't take it seriously and thought, 'It must be just a whim.' So I really dislike the word 'whim.'"
Regarding various reactions, Ani said, "I accept positive feedback, but I just ignore baseless criticism," adding, "If I don't see it at all, I won't know what's lacking, so I check the reactions."
Ani has drawn attention since before her debut as the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group Chairman Lee Myunghee and the eldest daughter of Shinsegae Chairman Jeong Yookyung.
