The men's magazine 'Arena Homme Plus' unveiled a digital cover featuring actor Lee Junho and a whiskey brand. This cover is visually completed with a new campaign alongside Lee Junho, who was selected as the brand's first ambassador.
In the released cover image, Lee Junho captures the depth and atmosphere of a moment enjoyed together by many, with a restrained sensibility and warm mood.
In an interview with 'Arena Homme Plus', Lee Junho expressed his affection for whiskey.
Lee Junho mentioned that he has a hobby of collecting whiskey and shared a story about his first whiskey experience. "Even before I started drinking whiskey, I bought it occasionally. I used to buy one or two bottles when I stopped by duty-free shops and often gifted them to friends. One time, I bought a bottle of whiskey on my way for a business trip and tried it at the hotel. I thought it would be similar to my first liquor, Korean distilled spirit, but the aroma was completely different. 'This is why people enjoy whiskey,' I think I understand it a little now."
Meanwhile, Lee Junho picked the characters he has acted as people he would like to share whiskey with. "The first one that comes to mind is King Jeongjo from 'The Red Sleeve Cuff'. He probably never had a chance to taste whiskey. (Laughs) It would be nice to suggest he try it since it's a drink from the West. And then there's Kang Tae-poong from 'Typhoon'. He really struggled during the IMF period with his job. I thought while reading the script that I wanted to buy him a drink."
