Broadcaster Hong Jin Kyung has marked the end of her 22-year marriage and is redefining her new relationship with her ex-husband as 'friendship', drawing attention as a practical example of reconciliation divorce, known as 'Conscious Uncoupling'.

This broadcast was the first occasion where Hong Jin Kyung acknowledged the fact of her divorce that had been reported earlier, resonating deeply with fans and viewers.
Hong Jin Kyung said, 'My daughter Rael is doing well, and she still gets along with her dad.' She added, 'It's unfortunate that we found real friendship only after becoming strangers, but we have remained good people for each other,' surprising those watching.
'I've known him since 1998, and we've been together for 28 years. It didn't end because of anyone's fault.
