Actor Jung In-sun meets viewers through KBS weekend dramas.
On the 6th, a production presentation for KBS2's new weekend drama "Our Golden Days" (written by So Hyun-gyeong, directed by Kim Hyung-seok) was held at The Saint in Sindorim-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul.
"Our Golden Days" is described as a family melodrama that resonates across generations, suggesting that everyone has their "golden days" at any time — in the present, past, or future. Director Kim Hyung-seok, known for shows like "Oh My Venus," "My Golden Life," and "The Wind Blows," collaborates again with writer So Hyun-gyeong, who penned works such as "My Daughter, Seo-young," "Two Weeks," "Second Twenty Years Old," and "My Golden Life."
Jung In-sun plays the role of Ji Eun-oh, a bright and cheerful café manager and interior designer. Despite a difficult environment, Eun-oh remains passionate and lives without regrets, becoming a warm character who continues to stand by Ji Hyuk, her once unrequited love. Expectations are high for Jung In-sun, who has received praise for her realistic acting and delicate emotional expressions in dramas like "DNA Lover," "Still Not Thirty," and "Firefighter," to showcase yet another transformation in this project.
Jung In-sun stated, "The character Ji Eun-oh might seem like a typical candy on the surface. Viewers may see her that way even after the first broadcast. However, I'm concerned about maintaining typical expressions while filming and reflecting on whether Jung In-sun, as a friend, has successfully portrayed the character of a candy. I aim to create a classic candy that transcends typicality, which I believe I won't have a chance to do again in my life."
KBS2's new weekend drama "Our Golden Days" will premiere on the evening of the 9th at 8 p.m.
