Television personality Jang Young-ran's husband and Oriental medicine doctor Han Chang confessed that he sold a 400-pyeong oriental medicine hospital.
On June 6, a video titled 'Han Chang, husband of Jang Young-ran, selling a 400-pyeong oriental medicine hospital and managing the household' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'A-Grade Jang Young-ran.'
On that day, Han Chang humorously referred to his occupation as 'Jang Young-ran's husband.'
Then, when the production team asked, 'Who holds the economic power?' he revealed, 'I have no economic power at all since getting married. I know all the card details and the transaction history. But Young-ran doesn't give me any allowance at all.'
Han Chang continued joking, 'If I say there's something I want to buy, she says, 'Go buy it.' But when she says that, somehow I don't want to buy it.'
In particular, on that day, Han Chang caught attention by shedding tears during the conversation. Jang Young-ran, after getting permission by asking, 'Is it okay to talk about this?' confessed, 'I transferred the hospital and sold it.'
Han Chang said, 'I'm really unemployed,' and Jang Young-ran said, 'So my husband has been resting for two months now. I think that's why he's feeling emotional. He can't express it, but I really think that he set aside his dream for Jang Young-ran to succeed, so I feel a bit sorry.'
She then mentioned, 'While running the hospital, we used to fight a lot,' and Han Chang revealed, 'We almost divorced. Before we started YouTube in early 2022, we fought a lot,' adding surprise.
Jang Young-ran shared, 'We went to bed as strangers after drinking every night and fighting a lot over the hospital. For several years, we didn't communicate. Now that my husband has quit, there's nothing to fight about. Ultimately, he just embraced me in a bigger way,' expressing both regret and gratitude.
Currently, focusing on household chores, Han Chang said, 'Right now, I'm doing the housework. I help the kids with their homework and send them to academy. Young-ran used to do these things, but since she's busy, someone has to do it. That's me now.'
