Global K-pop company Titan Content (TITAN CONTENT) expressed its ambition to "create a new paradigm for K-pop."
On the 6th, Han Se-min, Chairman of Titan Content, held a founders meetup for the launch of the rookie girl group AtHeart at the RIZE Autograph Collection in Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, and revealed the company's direction.
On that day, Chairman Han Se-min (COB) noted, "I established Titan Content in 2023 from the thought, 'Could we create a new paradigm for K-pop?' The most critical components are artists and content. Thus, I thought we need to establish a company in the United States."
Titan Content is a global K-pop startup established in April 2023 with its headquarters located in Los Angeles, the home of popular music, making it the first and only of its kind in K-pop history. It operates a headquarters HQ and its own studio in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, and also has a Korean subsidiary and production studio in Seoul, building a global production marketing promotion system connecting both countries.
He also mentioned future plans for Titan Content. According to Chairman Han Se-min's introduction, Titan Content aims to launch several teams by 2028, starting with the debut of its first girl group AtHeart on the 13th.
Chairman Han Se-min stated, "We are planning and working to create two girl groups, two boy groups, and a global virtual idol that can become the best in the global K-pop market by 2028, along with one male and one female solo artist."
Continuing with the first team, AtHeart, he said, "We conducted global auditions in over 40 cities around the world from January to April 2024. At that time, I was already thinking about creating the debut girl group." He added, "It's a new girl group, and since we need to create a new response in the market and change the paradigm, I naturally thought that while it is a K-pop girl group, it would be great to have American members, a rising member from the Philippines, an important member from Japan."
Chairman Han Se-min mentioned regarding the company based in the United States, "Many people ask, 'Titan Content has its headquarters in the U.S., so does it only operate there? Does it only debut there?'" He noted, "Recently, 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' has become very famous, but I honestly didn't expect 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' to be such a hit. In some ways, I thought the title was childish and that a K-pop girl group hunting down goblins would be silly, but I believe it was successful because it realistically captured the essence of 'K.' The content we create also fundamentally revolves around 'K.' We will further develop and transcend that essence of 'K.'"
Titan Content's first girl group AtHeart will officially debut on the 13th.
