The newlywed home of Down syndrome author Jeong Eun-hye and her husband Jo Yeong-nam has been revealed.
On the 4th, the YouTube channel 'Niaulgeul Eun-hye_ssi' uploaded a video titled 'The first reveal of the newlywed house of the couple with developmental disabilities, Eun-hye_ssi and Yeong-nam_ssi, that couldn't be shown thanks to 'Same Dream, Different Reality.'
In the released video, the love house of the two, who started living together after their marriage, was introduced for the first time.
Jeong Eun-hye's mother explained, "This house is a low-income housing rental unit where Eun-hye lived with her grandmother five years ago. When they got married, her grandmother moved to another place, and they started living together with her brother-in-law."
She added, "It's a place arranged by the Gyeonggi Housing Corporation, and if the rent is paid on time, they can live there for a long time."
Jo Yeong-nam's independence support fund played a significant role in their newlywed life. Her mother noted, "Mr. Yeong-nam became independent after getting married, having come from 'Angel's House,' and Yangpyeong-gun provided 20 million won in support for independent people with disabilities," adding, "All the furniture and appliances like the refrigerator and washing machine were prepared with that money by Jo's brother-in-law."
The tidy atmosphere of their home was also largely attributed to the help of the activity support worker. Eun-hye expressed her gratitude, saying, "The aunt comes to help clean, so it's always clean."
Meanwhile, Jeong Eun-hye married Jo Yeong-nam in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi, on May 5. He made a significant impression as a twin sister in the 2022 tvN drama 'Our Blues.'
The couple recently appeared on 'You Are My Destiny,' where Jeong Eun-hye cautiously mentioned their plans for a second child during a family meal, saying, "My brother is asking me to have a baby." In response, Jeong Eun-hye's mother asked, "Are you confident that you can take good care of a child if you have one?" expressing more concern than excitement about the issue of a second child.
Jeong Eun-hye's younger sister raised a question, saying, "I wonder if it's right for family members to discuss this issue instead of the parties involved," but Jeong Eun-hye's mother revealed a realistic concern, stating, "Ultimately, caring for a second child cannot be done without family together," adding, "Even if the two have a baby, there might be situations where they cannot fully raise it."
