The group Super Junior (SUPER JUNIOR, affiliated with SME) has captivated the news with its unique wit and charisma.
Representing Super Junior, members Lee Teuk, Heechul, and Eunhyuk appeared as guests on today's (6th) broadcast of SBS 'Nightline,' meeting anchor Kim Seok-jae to share various topics, including their 20th-anniversary commemorative album and concert.
First, Lee Teuk noted about the 20th anniversary, "It's been a long time, so I feel proud. I want to say we've done well," and explained, "With the 20th-anniversary album, we wanted to show that Super Junior is still going strong. We included what we're good at and trendy elements, along with a song dedicated to our fans, E.L.F. (official fan club name)."
Next, Heechul added, "The title track of the album 'Express Mode' was chosen because we wanted to show E.L.F. that Super Junior is still alive. We practiced hard to show the amazing Super Junior like in the past through our performances, literally giving our all."
Regarding the upcoming world tour 'SUPER SHOW 10,' Eunhyuk stated, "Not just in Korea but also on the other side of the globe, I am amazed that fans continue to send so much love. I always approach the stage with gratitude. I hope to create good memories through this tour as well."
Additionally, the members expressed their thoughts in their own styles: "I think it's over when we get complacent. I will always keep my mind strong and strive harder for the next 20 years" (Lee Teuk), "Seeing our supportive E.L.F. makes me want to live up to expectations. I will always provide good energy" (Heechul), "These days, we often say we should take care of our health. We want to stay active for a long time, so please watch over us" (Eunhyuk).
Lastly, with a greeting to the viewers, Lee Teuk surprised them by saying, "I ask for your support even for the 30th anniversary," bringing smiles, to which anchor Kim Seok-jae praised, "Super Junior has indeed maintained its long-standing friendship and has been at the forefront of introducing K-pop to the world."
Super Junior will kick off its world tour 'SUPER SHOW 10' with performances at KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul, for three days from the 22nd to 24th.
