Actor Jung Il-woo has returned to KBS after 16 years.
On the 5th, KBS1's 'Morning Yard' segment 'Tuesday Invitation' featured Jung Il-woo and Jung In-sun, the leading actors of KBS2's new weekend drama 'Our Golden Days', who grants various stories.
'Our Golden Days', where Jung Il-woo and Jung In-sun work together, is about 'Everyone has golden days. Whether in the present, past, or future, we meet with these golden days that carry different meanings, a generationally resonant family melodrama.' Jung Il-woo plays Lee Ji-hyuk, a proactive and cool-headed character recognized for his abilities in work and love, while Jung In-sun portrays Ji Eun-oh, a joyful and radiant embodiment of love.
Jung Il-woo, who is appearing on 'Morning Yard' for the first time, said, "I feel excited and nervous to be on a national program that I've watched since childhood. My hands are sweating."
In particular, Jung Il-woo remarked, "Since 'Please Take Care of My Lady' was a 2009 production, I have returned to KBS after 16 years. Even though it's been a while, it still feels the same. It feels like I've come back home." Jung In-sun added, "I mainly did KBS dramas when I was younger. I worked on morning dramas and children's dramas, but I did a project called 'Firefighters Without Gear' eight years ago. So it feels like I've returned home."
Amid this, Jung Il-woo described his character as "wealthy in hobbies, loving action and sports. He's a self-driven individual and a perfectionist at work, constantly grappling between reality and ideals. He is a character who faces conflicts with his father and strives for balance in his life as a K-firstborn son amidst family issues."
