Netflix original variety program "Better Late Than Single" participant Jung Mok (Ha Jung Mok) has broken up with fellow participant Ji Yeon (Park Ji Yeon), with whom he was a final couple.
On the 5th, Jung Mok wrote on Instagram, "I have broken up with Ms. Ji Yeon, with whom I became a final couple on the show. I hesitated to share this fact out of fear that it might evoke more negative reactions, but I felt it was not respectful to the people who loved the program. I apologize to everyone who supported me."
He continued, "The days the program was aired were embarrassing and painful times, facing my foolish and lacking self. Looking back, it seems that the disappointment and shame I felt toward myself were harder than the bad words circulating about me from others."
He elaborated, "I cannot readily use the word 'truth.' Regardless of my genuine intentions, I believe the results caused by my actions cannot be overturned. Therefore, everything revealed on the broadcast, whether intended or not, is my responsibility. I sincerely apologize to everyone who felt discomfort and unpleasantness due to my shortcomings. I am truly sorry."
Previously, Jung Mok participated in the Netflix variety program "Better Late Than Single" last month, where he and Ji Yeon developed a love line. The two expressed deep affection on the show, stating, "We feel like we will get married," and became the final couple.
