Singer Roy Kim is leaving the agency he has been with for 12 years to embark on a new start.
On the 5th, a media outlet reported that Roy Kim plans to begin his solo career at a new agency after the expiration of his exclusive contract with Wake One.
In relation to this, a representative from Wake One confirmed to OSEN on the same day that, "It is correct that Roy Kim's exclusive contract is expiring."
Earlier, Roy Kim signed a contract with Stone Music Entertainment, a subsidiary of CJ ENM, after winning first place in Season 4 of the Mnet reality program 'Superstar K' in 2012.
The following year, Roy Kim made his official debut by releasing the single album [Spring Spring Spring] and established himself as a leading emotional singer-songwriter in the music industry by releasing songs such as 'Home', 'The Big Dipper', 'We Should Break Up', and 'Let's Break Up'.
