Actor Jung Woo-sung (53) has reportedly submitted a marriage registration recently. The partner is not model Moon Gabi (35), the mother of his out-of-wedlock child, but his long-time girlfriend.
According to the entertainment industry on the 5th, Jung Woo-sung is said to have recently completed marriage registration with his girlfriend.
Jung Woo-sung's agency, Artist Company, stated on that day, "As this is a private matter, we cannot provide an official position at the company level," and urged, "We ask you to refrain from excessive interest and speculation."
Earlier, Jung Woo-sung acknowledged in November of last year that he has an out-of-wedlock child with model Moon Gabi (35). They first met at a gathering in 2022, and Moon Gabi became pregnant in June 2023 and gave birth in March of last year. Subsequently, Jung Woo-sung underwent paternity testing, and it is reported that there were differences of opinion regarding marriage with Moon Gabi.
At that time, Artist Company stated, "The child revealed by Ms. Moon Gabi on social media (SNS) is indeed Jung Woo-sung's biological child. The parenting method is currently under discussion in the best direction. As a father, I will fulfill my responsibilities to the child to the end," and added, "The two are not getting married. It is difficult to confirm the relationship with Moon Gabi."
Moon Gabi stated through SNS, "The (birth) was a choice made by both parents," and clarified that she has never asked Jung Woo-sung for marriage.
After the controversy arose, Jung Woo-sung said at the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards, "I will take all the criticism and bear it. As a father, I will fulfill my responsibilities to my son to the end."
