Following actor Park Juhyun's car accident and the ankle injury of Seol Inah, the 'Iron Girls' is monitoring the injury progress of the participants.
On the morning of the 5th, news of Seol Inah's ankle injury was reported. It is said that she felt discomfort in her ankle during filming for the tvN entertainment program 'Iron Girls' and then headed to the hospital after stopping the shoot.
In this regard, a representative from 'Iron Girls' told OSEN, "Actor Seol Inah felt discomfort in her ankle during filming and moved to the hospital. Afterward, she has been recovering with physical therapy and rest."
Additionally, "Fortunately, there is no problem with the bones, but discomfort continues. We plan to observe the progress and continue treatment and recovery," and added, "Filming will resume after evaluating the situation later."
'Iron Girls' is a reality show that captures the endless challenges of actresses who have become iron women. In last year's season one, Jin Seoryeon, Yui, Seol Inah, Park Juhyun, and Kim Donghyun participated and received praise for their challenge in a triathlon, which led to the production of the currently airing season two.
In season two, after Jin Seoryeon left, Geum Saerok joined. The original members Yui, Seol Inah, and Park Juhyun, along with Director General Kim Donghyun, are challenging to become boxing champions.
However, it drew attention that Park Juhyun did not appear in a recent broadcast of 'Iron Girls.' In this regard, Kim Donghyun explained, "Ms. Juhyun actually had a minor car accident in the morning. Although she really wanted to participate, we judged that resting was the right decision, so she ended up not participating."
A representative from Park Juhyun's agency, 935 Entertainment, told OSEN, "Actor Park Juhyun had a car accident about three weeks ago. Fortunately, it was a minor contact accident and there were no serious injuries such as fractures." They also explained, "It was difficult for her to participate in the recording, so we sought understanding and allowed her to take a rest. She is currently managing her scheduled activities following recovery."
Fortunately, Park Juhyun has finished her recovery and has returned to filming for 'Iron Girls.' However, now, due to Seol Inah's injury, we must once again monitor the situation. According to the production team, since filming for 'Iron Girls' began early to prepare for the competition, fortunately, there are no expected delays.
