Park Na-rae's 'plastering challenge' shown through 'Home Alone' has sparked an unexpected controversy.
On the broadcast of MBC's 'Home Alone' on 1st, Park Na-rae met her high school friend and photographer Ahn Ung-sun and began plastering work for a backdrop in a studio in Jeju Island.
He noted that he earned the nickname 'Park Wallpapering' from consistently taking wallpapering classes and has now transformed into 'Park Plastering' after learning plastering since earlier this year. In fact, Park Na-rae previously stated, "The reason I'm learning wallpapering at an interior academy is that I want to fix my grandparents' house myself."
However, immediately after the broadcast, there were unexpected reactions online. Some netizens said, "It's uncomfortable for a celebrity to consume physical labor, which is someone's livelihood, as entertainment and a hobby," and made pointed remarks like, "Is European plastering just a hobby with expensive wallpaper?"

Notably, a netizen who is actually working in wallpapering and plastering expressed their position, stating, "Whether it's wallpapering or plastering, I have no thoughts about it," while a plasterer countered, "No plasterers have expressed discomfort with Park Na-rae."
