MBN 'Love after Divorce 2' participant Yoon Nam-gi announced his decision to remove all his tattoos for the sake of his two children. This decision stemmed not from a simple change in appearance, but from a sense of responsibility toward his children.
On 4th, a video titled 'A big decision for the children' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Namdarimack.' In the video, Yoon Nam-gi and Lee Da-eun were spending a cozy time with their daughter, Lee-eun, and during that time, a discussion about Yoon Nam-gi's tattoos arose.
Lee-eun said, looking at her dad's ankle tattoo, 'It's a pirate.' Surprise at her unexpected reaction momentarily flustered Yoon Nam-gi, and those words left a deep impression on him.
Yoon Nam-gi revealed in the car heading to the hospital, 'In fact, I never thought about wanting to remove my tattoos.' However, while looking at a magazine with Lee-eun, he felt complicated emotions when his daughter pointed to a model with many tattoos and said, 'Dad has them too.' He recalled, 'It's not a bad thing, but somehow I felt a strange emotion.'
Moreover, his wife, Lee Da-eun, also expressed that she wasn't particularly fond of some of Yoon Nam-gi's tattoos, leading him to seriously consider tattoo removal. His expression heading to the hospital was more tense than excited.
After receiving a consultation, Yoon Nam-gi said, 'I think I understand why many people give up on removing their tattoos,' sharing his realistic concerns. He stated, 'If I want to remove them quickly, it will cost a lot, and if I want to take it slow, it seems like it will take more than three years,' adding, 'I have about five of them, and I plan to firmly commit to slowly removing all of them.'
