Actress Yoon Se-ah transforms into a horror queen to drive away the summer heat.
The movie 'Homecam,' which is gaining attention for its unique themes of 'Homecam Horror' and 'Homecam Ghost,' is set to be released on Sept. 10. It has officially confirmed its release date and unveiled a striking teaser poster.
As a horror movie showdown is anticipated in the early autumn theater scene, Yoon Se-ah grants her transformation into a horror queen through the movie 'Homecam,' which is set to be released at CGV on Sept. 10.
'Homecam' portrays a 24-hour close-up horror experience where 'Seong-hee' (Yoon Se-ah), an insurance investigator, becomes trapped in fear after witnessing an unfamiliar presence through a homecam installed in a house while investigating a mysterious death.
The reverse concept that combines the 'homecam,' which records facts, with the 'ghost,' whose existence is unknown, leads to unpredictable developments and heightens tension. Additionally, the setting is such that modern people cannot help but immerse themselves in it, raising both curiosity and fear, which is expected to captivate the audience.
The first teaser poster revealed features striking and direct visuals. The bloodstains left on the close-up homecam make one imagine that terrifying footage may have been captured, and the eerie woman reflected in the camera creates uncertainty about whether she is inside the camera or looking from the opposite side, adding to the chilling atmosphere. The lens, shaped like a human pupil, makes it appear as though the homecam possesses its own will. The double copy stating 'It captured something evil' amplifies curiosity about whether something evil is captured by the homecam or if the homecam itself is the evil thing, raising anticipation for follow-up posters and trailers.
