As the marriage and honeymoon of the couple Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min are being featured consecutively through entertainment programs and personal content, viewer fatigue is growing among the audience.
On the 3rd, during the SBS entertainment program 'My Little Old Boy,' Kim Jun-ho opened by saying, "A lot of people really came to our wedding," mentioning his close friend Cha Tae-hyun's congratulatory money. Kim Jun-ho joked, "You know that Cha Tae-hyun gave me 30,000 won, right?" to which Kim Ji-min laughed and said, "The larger amount was given to me." He continued joking, stating, "Shouldn't someone like Cha Tae-hyun give a large amount to the woman (Kim Ji-min) and secretly give me some pocket money?" In contrast, Shin Dong-yeop, Seo Jang-hoon, Lee Young-ja, Yoo Ji-tae, and Kwon Sang Woo were mentioned for their 'generous congratulatory money.'
The issue is that this type of content has been repeated not only on TV but also on the YouTube channel 'Jun-ho Ji-min.' Viewers are responding with questions like, "Until when are we going to talk about the wedding?" There have been criticisms that it contradicts the original concept of 'observing the daily lives of single men' that 'My Little Old Boy' intended.
One viewer expressed, "It feels like we're repeating the wedding talk for over a month. Now I feel like saying, 'Again?' and changing the channel," voicing their fatigue, while another netizen revealed, "Publishing everything from honeymoon to sexual orientation was a bit too much."
In the actual broadcast, Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min's couple recreated the honeymoon first night atmosphere at a Hanok accommodation. During a fortune-telling session, items hinting at sexual orientation appeared, and despite being censored, the phrase 'incarnation of lust' was read out loud, stirring controversy. As a long-loved entertainment program, it is evaluated that a flexible planning reflecting the times and viewer sentiment is necessary. If the production team wishes to avoid the ongoing noise, program changes and a new direction seem essential.
Meanwhile, Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min tied the knot on July 13, 2025, at the Grand InterContinental Parnas Hotel in Samsung-dong, Gangnam, Seoul, becoming the 25th couple of comedians. Their wedding was held privately, attended only by family and close friends. It has been reported that the venue rental cost alone was 100 million won, with the catering costing 200 million won.
