The group ZEROBASEONE made a dazzling appearance at the three-day festival.
ZEROBASEONE (Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim Taerae, Ricky, Kim Gyu-bin, Park Geon-wook, Han Yoo-jin) made their debut in the U.S. from the 1st to the 3rd (local time) at 'KCON LA 2025' held at the Crypto.com Arena and LA Convention Center in Los Angeles. This was their first visit to the U.S. since entering the Billboard 200 at number 28 with their recent mini-album 'BLUE PARADISE', proving their potential as the next global stars of K-pop as local fans flocked wherever they appeared.
During the three days of the festival, ZEROBASEONE attracted explosive responses from global K-pop fans with their special stages, showcasing various charms through group, unit, and solo performances. Sung Hanbin, the MC for Mnet's 'M Countdown', was responsible for hosting 'KCON LA 2025' for three days, with Seok Matthew on the first day, Ricky on the second day, and Zhang Hao on the last day, demonstrating a perfect synergy.
On the first day, ZEROBASEONE showcased a representative song parade with 'BLUE', 'Feel the POP', 'Doctor! Doctor!', and 'GOOD SO BAD', flaunting the charm of 'dynamic freshness'. Their energetic performance, combined with their nine unique visuals, transformed the venue into a blue paradise in an instant. Notably, in 'Doctor! Doctor!', they moved to a protruding stage to get closer to the audience. On the second day, ZEROBASEONE created a collaboration stage during the special performance. Zhang Hao showcased his deadly charm with (G)I-DLE's Ugi and Trouble Maker's 'There Is No Tomorrow', while Kim Taerae conveyed emotional appeal with Roy Kim and Coldplay's 'Everglow'. In particular, Seok Matthew and Park Geon-wook stirred the audience's excitement by performing the English version of 'BACK PACKER', the OST for the TVING original 'Study Group'.
Capping off the festival on the third day, ZEROBASEONE heated up the performance venue with their intense and powerful choreography, featuring the pre-released song 'SLAM DUNK' from their upcoming first full album 'NEVER SAY NEVER', along with 'Devil Game' and 'KILL THE ROMEO'.
ZEROBASEONE surprised fans by unveiling a spoiler film for their first full album 'NEVER SAY NEVER', set to be released on September 1. The video features ZEROBASEONE interviewing in a mood reminiscent of a photoshoot. The members mentioned, "I saw a real puppy driving", "It's the universe's providence", and "What's impossible is really impossible", heightening anticipation for their comeback.
'NEVER SAY NEVER' is an album that announces ZEROBASEONE's most brilliant moments in the music journey built together with their fandom, ZEROSE.
