"A problem that needs to be addressed at least once"
Actor Kang Ji-seop confesses his thoughts and truth for the first time after the controversy over religious followers through "Oh Eun-young Stay."
MBN's 30th anniversary national comforting project "Oh Eun-young Stay" is a healing reality show where Dr. Oh Eun-young, Go So-young, and Moon Se-yoon soothe viewers' hearts through warm empathy and healing. The 7th episode of "Oh Eun-young Stay," airing tonight at 9:10 p.m., will feature actor Kang Ji-seop, who had rarely shown himself since the religious followers' controversy, revealing the complex feelings intertwined with "the truth of that day" for the first time on air, causing shock.
Kang Ji-seop enters the Stay room with a dark expression and introduces himself as "a scarlet letter marked by ignorance," saying in a heavy voice, "I thought I was on the right path, but it turned out to be the wrong one." He expresses hesitation, saying, "I was worried that coming out might make things worse," but calmly states, "Nonetheless, it's a problem that needs to be addressed at least once, so I came."
Kang Ji-seop explains why he sought the place, saying, "I wanted to find a refuge for my heart. I wanted to live rightly without falling into reason and alcohol." He reveals shocking facts that occurred there. As Kang Ji-seop gathers the courage to face the world again with a trembling heart, attention focuses on whether he can bring forth all the remaining hidden stories and what comfort and advice Dr. Oh Eun-young will provide to the courageous Kang Ji-seop.
Meanwhile, Go So-young, who is actively serving as the official chef of "Stay," collaborates with Moon Se-yoon to prepare bibim-guksu for 12 servings for the participants, displaying a special "food healing." On this day, when Moon Se-yoon requests, "Since there are 9 people, please make it for 12 servings," Go So-young skillfully makes the sauce, demonstrating her expertise, even though she admits that estimating such a large quantity is challenging. She shows her attentiveness by preparing soy sauce-based noodles, saying, "Too spicy from the morning might upset the stomach." This raises curiosity about Go So-young's noodle dish, which Moon Se-yoon exclaims is "so delicious" as he devours it eagerly.
"The production team of 'Oh Eun-young Stay' noted, 'Kang Ji-seop reveals wounds and misunderstandings that he could not easily speak of to anyone, as well as the pain that still lingers even after time has passed.' They added, 'Please look forward to the 7th episode of 'Oh Eun-young Stay,' which will contain Kang Ji-seop's honest confessions and reflections.'
