In Netflix's new variety show 'Wardrobe Wars,' Jung Jae-hyung and Kim Na-young rummage through the wardrobe of Seon Woo-young, filled with 'outlet luxury items.'
Today (4th) at 5 p.m., the first two episodes of Netflix's new variety show 'Wardrobe Wars' will be released simultaneously, featuring siblings Jung Jae-hyung and Kim Na-young, who know a thing or two about fashion, as they rummage through the wardrobes of celebrities wanting to escape their fashion rut and challenge the clients' wardrobe decorating competition program. Expectations are rising for the exploration of clients' wardrobes showcasing a strict fashion philosophy and the trendy fashion solutions from 'entertainment industry representatives' Jung Jae-hyung and Kim Na-young. In the first episode, Seon Woo-young, who is enjoying a second heyday as the 'oldest YouTuber,' will request a fashion revival in the second episode from KCM, known as an icon of 'fashion terrorism.'
Among them, Seon Woo-young will reveal her wardrobe, which is filled with luxury items including the trending luxury bag, a 20-year-old Italian skirt, and a jacket. Seon Woo-young notes, "The first brand I got to know was Ar-Oni," sharing her entry into luxury fashion and adds, "I bought all of this at the outlet," reaffirming her unique 'outlet love,' which brings laughter. Jung Jae-hyung and Kim Na-young are surprised when they see her packed wardrobe, asking, "Were you a shopaholic, teacher?" To which Seon Woo-young responds, "I buy clothes for work. I have never hired a stylist in my life. I repair my clothes by sewing and hand-stitching them myself," adding to the surprise. Additionally, amidst the colorful and flashy collection, she humorously remarks, "I often play the role of a lady. I have never had a rough role. I want to play such roles, but they never let me."
On the other hand, KCM, dressed in a sleeveless shirt and arm warmers, brings laughter as he greets the two MCs. KCM shares his seasonal fitness updates, saying, "Half fat, half muscle," while revealing that "the clothes don't welcome me. There are no off-the-rack clothes that fit me," attributing this to his thick arms. Additionally, KCM, known as a 'fishing enthusiast,' contrasts his overflowing fishing items with a 'humble wardrobe', leaving Jung Jae-hyung and Kim Na-young bewildered. For a moment, after trying on a set of fishing clothes valued at approximately 2 million won, Jung Jae-hyung and Kim Na-young exclaim, "This fishing outfit is so pretty. It looks like Valentino," catching KCM's eye, who jokingly asks, "Is this a program where guests are dressed up?" provoking laughter.
Meanwhile, in the first episode, Jung Jae-hyung and Kim Na-young will compete in the 'Yong-kku (Yong-young styling)' challenge to take care of Seon Woo-young's airport look, and in the second episode, they will propose a '2025 trendy look' to rescue KCM from the dark Y2K era. Curiosity rises about how Seon Woo-young and KCM, transformed by Jung Jae-hyung and Kim Na-young's touch, will appear, and who will emerge victorious in the first 'Wardrobe Wars.'
Netflix's 'Wardrobe Wars' will be released every Monday at 5 p.m. starting today (4th).
