The 'loser' dating style of broadcaster Jun Hyun-moo, a former KBS announcer, was revealed in 'Boss's ears are donkey ears.'
On the afternoon of the 3rd, KBS 2TV's entertainment program 'Boss's ears are donkey ears' (abbreviated as 'Sadangui') revealed the daily life of Um Ji-in, the head of KBS's announcer department.
That day, Um Ji-in was proposed a Korean language class at the language school from his alma mater, Yonsei University, and he worked on the preparations with junior announcers. To this end, he recruited the mother of KBS announcer Kim Jin-woong, who has actively taught English at a middle school and even obtained a Korean teacher certification.
After finishing the special lecture, Um Ji-in presented the Jajangmyeon, a special dish offered at KBS's Yeouido headquarters cafeteria, limited to lunch on Fridays, which is also recognized by the comedian Lee Young-ja, known as 'Professor for Eating,' to Kim Jin-woong and his mother. In the earlier special lecture, it was revealed that Kim Jin-woong's mother's English name was 'Jin' and Um Ji-in's English name was also 'Jin.' Um Ji-in took on the role of Kim Jin-woong's 'office mom,' exposing the dating history of his junior.
Um Ji-in started by saying, 'Jin-woong recently went on a blind date but messed it up.' He continued, 'During the time he worked at a previous job where his salary was in the 2 million won range, he spent all his salary on a gift for his girlfriend. It was a luxury item worth 1.65 million won, and on top of that, he financed it through credit card revolving, resulting in interest that was higher than his salary.'
Seeing Um Ji-in at a loss, Jun Hyun-moo also empathized. He confessed, 'When I date, I give everything. I'm a loser. I give it all.' When Park Myung-soo and Kim Sook asked, 'Have you ever bought a padded jacket?' and 'Have you ever bought a bag?' Jun Hyun-moo shyly replied, 'I've bought everything.' Park Myung-soo added humorously, 'I wouldn't meet you if you didn't buy me anything.'
However, Jun Hyun-moo drew the line at Kim Jin-woong's actions. He said, 'You should never give gifts financed through credit card debt.' Additionally, he advised, 'More than that, you should definitely not mention this to Um Ji-in,' which garnered agreement. Nevertheless, Um Ji-in emphasized, 'I don't think that's love,' and Jun Hyun-moo also acknowledged, 'If you really loved them, you wouldn't have asked for such an excessive gift.'
