The unconventional feast to be presented by the chef Im Yoon-a from the future is highly anticipated.
The new tvN Saturday-Sunday drama "Bon Appetit, Your Majesty" (directed by Jang Tae-yu, written by fGRD, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Film Greeda, Jeong Universe) will premiere on Aug. 23 (Saturday), revealing a video that makes viewers curious about the lavish culinary scene commanded by Chef Yeon Ji-young (played by Im Yoon-a) after the tyrant's post-meal video is shown.
The released video captures the confident smile of Yeon Ji-young, dressed in a blue chef's attire, not the typical white chef's uniform. After unexpectedly falling back in time, the former head chef of a three-star restaurant is appointed as the chef responsible for the king's meals, taking charge of the royal kitchen.
As Chef Yeon Ji-young observes, the kitchen assistants are busily preparing and cooking, following her instructions. Curiosity amplifies about what extraordinary royal dishes she will present in the unfamiliar royal kitchen from the 21st century.
Notably, the person who will taste the dishes prepared by Yeon Ji-young is none other than King Lee Heon (played by Lee Chae-min), who is known for his discerning palate and can detect even the most subtle differences in flavors, hinting at a harsher critique than ever before. Having risen to the top through craftiness and resilience in the heart of culinary expertise, the survival journey of Yeon Ji-young showcasing her brilliant skills in a fierce royal power struggle is eagerly anticipated.
