On the afternoon of the 4th, the production team of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'The Winning Try' stated to OSEN, "The production team of 'The Winning Try: We Become a Miracle' expresses deep condolences over the late person's unfortunate news and sincerely wishes for the repose of the deceased. We also extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family."
Song Young-kyu was found dead in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, on the morning of that day. He was 55 years old. No suicide note was found at the scene, and the police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of his death. The mortuary has been set up at the Daebos Hospital in Yongin, with the funeral to be held at 8 a.m. on the 6th.

Earlier, Song Young-kyu was sent to be tried without detention on suspicion of driving under the influence in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, around 11 p.m. on the 19th of last month, covering a distance of about 5 kilometers from Giheung District to Cheoin District. As a result, he withdrew from the play 'Shakespeare in Love,' and the teams of the dramas 'The Winning Try' and 'The Defects' stated they were discussing editing Song Young-kyu as much as possible.
