Gangrin (real name Kang Ing-gu) from the group E.O.S has suddenly passed away.
On 4th, according to a media report, Gangrin was found dead at a hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, on the 31st of last month. He was 58 years old.
The police are currently investigating the details surrounding his death. However, there have been no indications of foul play.
Gangrin was a member of the group E.O.S, which debuted in 1993. He played the keyboard on their first regular album and was active in production on the second and third albums.
E.O.S presented Euro techno music, which was unfamiliar in the country at their debut. They gained popularity with songs like "Dream, Fantasy, and Illusion," "Each Path," and "You Are Not Someone Else."
After leaving the group, Gangrin was active in a group called Lynn O&X in 1995. He also produced albums for the rock bands Marie Jane and Zett. In 2002, he also worked as a guest vocalist for Yoo Hee-yeol's group Toy.
