It has been 10 years since the vocalist Ban (Kim Kyung-min) of the band Nocturnal Valentine passed away from drowning while on vacation.
Ban of Nocturnal Valentine died on Aug. 3, 2015, at the age of 33.
At that time, Nocturnal Valentine said, "We are devastated to share this sudden and heartbreaking news. Our vocalist Ban, who has been with us for the past 13 years, has left us due to an unexpected accident."
Ban's cause of death was reported as drowning. It is known that he drowned after an unexpected accident while on vacation, and a related party explained, "He went on vacation with friends and encountered an unexpected accident."
Many fellow singers could not hide their shock over Ban's death. Yoonha said, "I am at a loss for words at this sudden news. I hadn't been able to keep my promise to have a meal with you. You were always someone who looked out for me, and now you are gone so unexpectedly. I should have done better; this isn't right. I will come to see you off. I am so sorry."

Formed in 2002, Nocturnal Valentine gained recognition by appearing on KBS2's 'Top Band' Season 1 in 2011 and Mnet's 'The Age of Bands' in 2013.
