Singer Lee Chan-won did not participate in the 'Immortal Songs' rock festival special. His absence was filled by Jeong-hoon Choi of Jannabi.
The broadcast on 2nd featured KBS2 'Immortal Songs - Singing Legends' (hereinafter 'Immortal Songs'), which was themed around the 'Rock Festival in Ulsan' held in Ulsan.
This stage included performances by Kim Chang-wan Band, Jeon In-kwon Band, Seomun-tak, Cherry Filter, FT Island, Jannabi, and Touched, showcasing a splendid lineup.
On this day, Lee Chan-won, who usually serves as the MC of 'Immortal Songs', was noticeably absent from the studio. In response, MC Kim Jun-hyun explained, "Due to a change in the recording schedule, Mr. Lee Chan-won could not attend because of a pre-scheduled commitment that could not be changed."
Lee Chan-won's absence was filled by Jeong-hoon Choi of Jannabi as the special MC. Jeong-hoon Choi expressed, "It's my first time as an MC on 'Immortal Songs,' so I'm really nervous. It's an honor to be in front of my seniors," showing a nervous demeanor. When he stumbled over his introduction, Lee Hong-ki reacted playfully, saying, "Thanks for making me laugh," to which Jeong-hoon replied, "Now I have a younger sibling to tease."
Kim Jun-hyun also supported him by saying, "It's much fresher than just talking away," adding, "It's fine if you keep stumbling," to which Jeong-hoon joked, "I will keep stumbling," adding to the laughter.
Meanwhile, this special was originally scheduled for recording on July 19 but was postponed due to record-breaking heavy rainfall in the Ulsan area. Following this, to fulfill their promise, recording resumed on July 27, completing a heated performance with over 6,000 audience members.
