Comedian Kim Won-hoon reminisced about his difficult times on the Omniscient Interfering View.
On the 2nd, Kim Won-hoon, the owner of the YouTube channel 'Short Box' with over 3 million subscribers, appeared on the MBC variety show Omniscient Interfering View (hereafter referred to as 'Omni View'). Choi Kang-hee acknowledged Kim Won-hoon's fame, saying, "I've seen Kim Won-hoon and Um Ji-yoon's 'Long-term Love.' They seemed to act very naturally in daily life."

'Short Box,' which is said to have revived the comedy industry, has gained tremendous status. Kim Won-hoon cautiously revealed his revenue, stating, "Since it's relatable to Korean sentiment, we don't add English subtitles. Almost all subscribers are domestic." He added, "If we have around 10 million views, we earn approximately 2 to 3 million won."
When talking about the main characters of 'Short Box,' Kim Won-hoon, Um Ji-yoon, and Jo Jin-se were mentioned. Kim Won-hoon explained, "Since I'm the channel owner, Jin-se and I share the revenue, and Ji-yoon takes the revenue from the videos she appears in."

I thought we could only do 'Short Box' for 6 months, and if it didn't work out, I would become a recreation instructor, while Jin-se would become a trainer. We managed to endure that time, and it worked out," mentioning that he also had his parents' support.
Kim Won-hoon stated that his motivation also came from senior comedians. He noted, "When I meet juniors, I actually give them allowance," and mentioned the influence he received from Lee Yong-ja. He said, "During 'Gag Concert,' Lee Yong-ja generously treated us. She walked around to every table, offering kind words and showing us how to eat."
Kim Won-hoon explained that taking care of juniors and calling them by name is thanks to Yoo Jae-suk. He shared, "When I was a year into my debut, at an award ceremony during my rookie days, Yoo Jae-suk said, 'Won-hoon, I'm keeping an eye on you.' So I thought it would be nice to call juniors by name when I eventually meet them. I actually care a lot about my juniors," impressing everyone.
