After School alum Lizzy announced meaningful news of a fresh start.
On the 1st, a video titled "Lizzy's heartfelt message after 4 years" was released on After School Jungah's YouTube channel "Jjeong the Woman Jungah."
In the video, Lizzy said, "This is my first time in front of the camera since 2021. It's been 4 years, or 5 years in total. What happened should never have happened, and there is no excuse for it. My clear mistake has affected the journalists and those who cared for and loved me, and I'm very sorry for that. I received love for my lively and positive image in After School, Orange Caramel, and variety shows, but when I was ignored and criticized, I was scared."
She added, "Wanting to hold onto that led to a continuous cycle of mistakes and wrongdoings. I received much more blessing than I worked for, and I think I lived without knowing how high the heavens were. Over time, after losing many things, I was able to reflect on how I lived."
Jungah comforted her by saying, "I believe that realizing what could have been unknown for a lifetime has changed your future." Lizzy noted, "I'm grateful that the members didn't leave," and Jungah said, "I was disappointed. I often told the members to get themselves together. Even so, if they hadn't changed, I might not have seen it, but their efforts to show change and live brightly truly resonated with me."
