The 7-month pregnant actress Lee Si-young shared her unique riding tour experience in the United States.
On the 2nd, Lee Si-young posted on her Instagram, "I finally completed a 200km Long Island tour!" along with a photo.
In the published photos, Lee Si-young is seen with riders, one with her son, and another where she is smiling brightly in front of a red Harley Davidson bike. She expressed, "It was my first long-distance tour, and I felt nervous. It even started to rain, and I thought about giving up halfway, but I'm glad I went through with it. The weather was nice, and I rode through the mountain and coastal roads, completing 200km."
She also noted, "I never imagined I would do a 200km long-distance tour at 7 months pregnant," and said, "It's really nice to bond with the baby while riding a Harley," sharing her cheerful and unique prenatal life. She continued, "I really haven't bought anything for the baby yet, so I wonder what I should buy when I go back to Korea," expressing her concerns ahead of childbirth.
Fans expressed their support, saying, "You are full of energy even during pregnancy" and "A cool and confident working mom."
Meanwhile, last March, Lee Si-young announced her divorce from her husband, a businessman 9 years her senior. Then last month, she revealed on social media, "I am currently pregnant," stating that she had the embryo from IVF treatments attempted during her marriage implanted unilaterally after her divorce without her ex-husband's consent.
She stated, "The other party did not agree, but I intend to bear the weight of the decision I made entirely on my own," adding, "I will live responsibly so that my child lacks nothing even when I'm alone."
However, as the fact that the IVF procedure was done without her ex-husband's consent became known, a debate over legal issues and bioethics ensued online. Experts mentioned issues such as embryo ownership, acknowledgment procedures, and parenting responsibilities, while celebrities like Seo Hyo-rim, Jeon Hye-bin, and Bae Seul-gi left supportive comments. Voices supporting Lee Si-young's courageous decision came from DinDin, Choa of Crayon Pop, Swings, Gi Eun-se, and So Yoo-jin, among others, who liked her post.
Meanwhile, Lee Si-young successfully led the recent ENA drama "Salon de Homes" as the main character.
