Hong Hyun-hee embarked on her first tasting of Pyongyang cold noodles.
On the 1st, a video titled "What does this taste like? Hyun-hee's first experience with Pyongyang cold noodles" was posted on the YouTube channel 'HongssunTV'.
The released video features Hong Hyun-hee visiting a restaurant known for its Pyongyang cold noodles and saying, "I have very little experience. I eat everything well, but my brother is picky. So, I made my brother's side dish. When I was young, I only ate things like kimchi and couldn't try a variety of foods, so I don't know much about food culture or taste."
She continued, "I thought I should study food. Also, I realized that if I eat a variety, I can talk about it with Jun-beom." She added, "I have never tried Pyongyang cold noodles. It's my first experience with Pyongyang cold noodles."
Having first tasted a dish known as eobokjeongban, Hong Hyun-hee expressed her emotions, saying, "What was I doing not eating stuff like this?"
As the mulnaengmyeon was served, Hong Hyun-hee tasted the broth and frowned, saying, "What is this taste? It feels like something is missing."
Regarding the comment that it was 'delicious,' Hong Hyun-hee said, "I can't drink the broth, honestly," but after tasting the noodles, she exclaimed, "It's nutty. I think Jun-beom will like it," drawing attention. However, she also mentioned, "But, something like pickled vegetables sounds appealing."
