SHINee's Key confessed to a chilling experience of overhearing a conversation that criticized him while at a drinking party.
On the broadcast of ENA's 'Salon de Dol: You Talk Too Much' on the 1st, Hyoyeon, Key, and Lee Changsub grants their candid talk.
That day, Key explained, "I once went to a bar and overheard a few women in their 20s and 30s in the next room talking about me. I had no idea at all," adding, "It seemed like they were having a birthday party, and I was quietly having a drink and chatting with a friend."
He continued, "The conversation shifted to discussing terrestrial broadcasting entertainment, and they started talking about 'Home Alone.' One person expressed their liking for me, but another rebutted that, starting a debate," he revealed. "After some compliments and discussions about flaws, I even heard, 'No matter how you put it, his tone is so rude.' I could hear everything they said from just a piece of paper away."
Key shared that "the conversation went on for as long as 40 minutes. Eventually, they even made some primitive remarks like 'he's ugly, not great.'" He conveyed his bitter feelings at the time. In response, Hyoyeon jokingly asked, "Why didn't you slightly open the door?" and Key laughed, saying, "I was contemplating whether to do that or not."
