KickFlip, which made its debut on January 20, 2025, will shine brightly on various stages of massive global festivals this summer, about six months after their debut, and will engage in activities as a 'K-pop super rookie'. Starting with the world-renowned music festival 'Lollapalooza Chicago' on August 2 (local time) at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, they will meet audiences at 'Summer Sonic 2025' on the 16th at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo and on the 17th at Expo '70 Commemorative Park in Osaka, and at 'Summer Sonic Bangkok 2025' on the 24th at Impact Challenger Hall in Bangkok, Thailand.
In particular, they recently became part of the lineup for the '2025 TIMA' (TMELive International Music Awards), which will be held at the Galaxy Arena in Macau on August 23, signaling a brighter future in their worldwide activities. The '2025 TIMA' is a large-scale international music awards organized by Tencent Music Entertainment Group, which has China's largest music platform. Members of KickFlip, including Gye-hoon, Amaru, Dong-hwa, Joo-wang, Min-je, K-Ju, and Dong-hyun, will showcase the infinite potential of performance-based boy groups and spread their presence as 'next-generation stage artisans.'
KickFlip recorded 276,881 copies sold in the first week after release based on the Hanteo Chart with their debut album 'Flip it, Kick it!' and 340,655 copies with their latest mini album 'Kick Out, Flip Now!', reflecting a growth trend. Additionally, according to the '25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2025 (So Far)' published on the official Billboard website on the 21st, their mini album track 'Umm great' ranked 16th. Billboard noted, "KickFlip is a team that gives freshness to a new generation of listeners, showing possibilities beyond just 'umm great'."
