Yves revealed today (1st) through her official SNS a spoiler of the album and jacket images featuring part of the highlight track 'mom' from her third EP 'Soft Error.'
'Mom' is a song that decorates the emotional conclusion of the album's narrative, based on the indie pop genre. Yves recalls the archetype of the oldest love through the existence of 'mother,' calming the waves of heightened emotions for the first time through repetition and accumulation. Yves's clear humming stands out amid the restrained melody.
Along with this, the jacket image features Yves's bright smile, capturing the pure yet clear atmosphere of the song.
Yves's third EP 'Soft Error' means 'looking fine on the outside, but broken on the inside.' It includes a total of six songs, featuring the double title track 'White cat' along with 'Soap (feat. PinkPantheress),' 'Aibo (feat. Bratty),' 'Do you feel it like I touch,' 'Study,' and 'mom.' The album reflects Yves's continuous musical attempts, crossing various genres such as electronic pop, Miami bass, alternative rock, and indie pop.
