Stray Kids marked their debut European stadium tour by achieving a sold-out show at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Italy, becoming the first K-pop group to do so.
Stray Kids held a solo concert on July 30 (local time) at the Stadio Olimpico as part of their world tour 'Stray Kids World Tour 'dominATE.' As the headliner of the large music festival 'I-Days' held in Milan in July 2024, Stray Kids met over 70,000 fans, and one year later, in July 2025, they once again connected with local fans through a solo performance, enchanting the summer night in Rome with romance and joy.
The Stadio Olimpico, where the concert was held, has hosted numerous international sports events since its opening in 1953, including the Summer Universiade, World Athletics Championships, FIFA World Cup, and UEFA Champions League, and is also the home stadium of Serie A teams AS Roma and SS Lazio. Renowned global artists such as Italian singer-songwriter Claudio Baglioni, U2, Muse, and Coldplay have also performed at this venue.
The massive stadium, capable of accommodating over 70,000 seats, reached full capacity for this concert, marking it as the largest K-pop concert ever held in Rome. Additionally, Stray Kids achieved the thrilling record of 'sold out' tickets for a total of eight stadium performances across six locations in Europe, including the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam, Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid, Stade de France in Paris, and Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
'Record maker' Stray Kids filled the 180-minute runtime with their signature songs reflecting the group's musical identity and unit tracks created with the participation of all eight members. They used a moving vehicle to bring themselves closer to the audience, uniting with fans by singing Korean lyrics together.
Having successfully completed the highly anticipated 54th show of their world tour, which spans 34 regions worldwide and sets their own record for size, Stray Kids noted, "Since today is our last performance of the European tour, it feels especially meaningful. Rome is called the 'Eternal City,' and I hope the love between Skiz and Stay will last as long as Rome. We stood before you relying on each other as members, and thanks to the energy of Stay, we could keep going on stage. I am really grateful and hope this performance becomes a memorable moment in your life."
Stray Kids, through their legendary world tour 'dominATE' spanning five continents over approximately 11 months, has set numerous records for firsts, most, and largest, once again breaking new ground for the group. With the end credits of this grand tour, Stray Kids are now heading back to their hometown, Seoul, Korea. They will release their 4th studio album 'KARMA' on the 22nd and announce the magnificent return of 'K-pop champions.'
