Comedian Ahn Young-mi explained that she cannot reveal the whereabouts of her husband.
On the 1st, a press conference for the 13th Busan International Comedy Festival (hereinafter referred to as BIFC) was held at Stanford Hotel in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
In attendance were Kim Jun-ho, executive chairman; Cha Dae-woong, vice executive chairman; Jo Kwang-sik, vice executive chairman; Kim Dae-hee, director; Seong Ha-mook, director; Jo Yoon-ho, programmer; as well as performers from Comedy Concert with BIFC (Shin Yoon-seung, Jo Soo-hyun, Park Eun-young, Yoo Yeon-jo, Seo Seong-kyung), Byun Ki-soo's beach show (Byun Ki-soo, Tak (Bae Chigi), Song Yeong-gil, Kim Tae-won), Ahn Young-mi Show - All Age Show (Ahn Young-mi), Stand-up Assembly @BIFC (Gu Jeong-mo, Yoo Yeong-woo, Oh Di-di, Si-o Si-o, Woo Da-on, Jeon Ye-won, Yang Hye-won), Comedy Meeting (Im Jong-hyuk, Jang Yoon-seok), Closing Performance - I Am a Dog Singer (Kim Na-hee, Lee Sang-ho, Lee Sang-min), Book Concert & Closing Performance MC (Lee Hong-ryeol), and Story Episode (Lee Gwang-seob, Lee Won-gu).
Since its inception in 2013 as the first comedy festival in Asia, BIFC will be held over ten days from the 29th to September 7th throughout Busan. The opening performance, held at BEXCO Auditorium, will feature more than 100 comedians, including top comedians from South Korea, comedians from nine countries, and popular YouTube creators, promising a special time, with the team from Comedy Concert set to perform at the opening and the outstanding entertainer Park Myung-soo hosting to lift the summer heat.
"Ahn Young-mi Show: All Audience Show" will take place at Shinsegae Centum City, 9th floor Culture Hall, at 5 p.m. on August 30 and at 2 p.m. on August 31. Expectations are high to see Ahn Young-mi's naughty humor and witty remarks, which have been edited out due to broadcasting regulations.
Ahn Young-mi said, "I really wanted to do this show. The 19+ show has been a dream of mine even before marriage, but it was taboo at that time, and I was also afraid. While raising my child and seeing how my juniors perform and watching various content, I thought, 'Why was I so scared?' Surprisingly, there are many people who enjoy 19+ comedy, so I thought, why not give it a try? After having a child, I gained the courage to get on stage." She added, "Since people are curious about my husband's whereabouts, I will also cover various topics about sex. I can't reveal where my husband is, but I can reveal about our sexual relations."
She further noted, "Just because it's called the All Audience Show, some might think it's just about dancing breasts, but it's not about that. The title was given to express the various stories that were in my heart and that I couldn't talk about on air. I hope there are no misunderstandings, and I will convey fun and amusing sexual stories in a comfortable, non-awkward way."
