Broadcaster Haha clarified rumors about the closure of his meat restaurant, proving his ongoing popularity with long waits for tables.
On the 1st, Haha shared a post from a customer at his meat restaurant on his social media account story that read, 'Surprise visit from President Ha while waiting for a table.'
In the photo, Haha made a surprise appearance at a meat restaurant filled with guests. Surprise appearances from Haha not only filled the waiting area but also brought cheerful energy and delightful smiles.
In a previous episode of KBS2's 'The Boss's Ears Are Donkeys,' Chef Jung Ji-sun was depicted visiting Haha's studio. Haha opened a meat restaurant in Myeongdong, Seoul, in 2014 in partnership with Kim Jong-kook, but recently announced the closure of two directly managed locations.
Haha said, 'I spent two years looking like an empty store. Think about the monthly rent. I cried every day. Many of my younger brothers and friends around me have closed their businesses. The food service industry is really tough,' and added, 'Actually, my business partner Jong-kook said, 'I thought that money didn't exist seven years ago.' He called me asking, 'Is your restaurant fully booked?'
As rumors of the restaurant's closure swirled, Haha remarked, 'Thank you. Monday waitlist,' clarifying, 'We are not going out of business.'
Meanwhile, Haha married singer Byul in 2012 and they have two sons and one daughter together.
