Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min held their wedding on the 13th at the Grand InterContinental Parnas Hotel in Gangnam, Seoul.
Having acknowledged their relationship in April 2022 and continuing a three-year public romance, Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min had a lavish wedding at a five-star hotel that can accommodate up to 940 guests. The ceremony was held privately with family, relatives, and close acquaintances. The wedding was officiated by Lee Sang-min, who has collaborated with Kim Jun-ho on SBS's "My Little Old Boy" and "Dolsing Fourmen." With over 1,200 guests attending and celebrating their beautiful wedding, Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min decided to postpone their honeymoon, which is typically done immediately after the wedding. Kim Jun-ho is preparing for the 13th Busan International Comedy Festival, while Kim Ji-min has American filming for tvN's "Kim Chang-wook Show Global", which led them to delay their honeymoon temporarily.
Kim Jun-ho, who is so passionate about comedy that he is called "the comedy enthusiast," diligently prepared for the 13th Busan International Comedy Festival. At his first official appearance after the wedding, he expressed his love for his wife Kim Ji-min and requested support and affection for both the "Bukope" and comedy.
When asked if his wife Kim Ji-min would also be attending the "Bukope," Kim Jun-ho expressed discomfort, saying, "That was an unexpected question," but added, "That day, Kim Ji-min has a recording scheduled. Kim Jun-ho said, "From the 1st to the 7th, the 'Gag Concert' and 'Comedy Big League' teams came a lot and performed successfully. After that, when 'Gag Concert' was discontinued, we began inviting comedians turned YouTubers, but the response was not good. When Kwak Beom and Lee Chang-ho performed as unknowns, they gained popularity through YouTube, and after their fandom formed, they became immensely popular at 'Bukope.' I thought we could do it adequately online and offline like singers. Last year, at Kwak Beom's concert, I asked, 'What are you?' and was shocked by the backlash. I believe that in Korea, performances are being created on their own channels and showcasing various performances," analyzing the current form of comedy consumption.
He continued, "What we dream of is to create a Busan comedy theater platform and nurture talent. This year, we are introducing a comedy subject at Dongseo University and plan to conduct classes for six months followed by a second semester. To internationalize, we need to nurture talent and develop content year-round so that we can produce internationally recognized K-comedy, similar to K-dramas and K-pop, and we have been focusing on this since the 10th edition."
In addition, Kim Jun-ho said, "Due to climate change, Busan has become hotter, and last year and the year before, audiences were kept. This time, it will be held at the BEXCO Auditorium. There are changes in the opening ceremony and street performances called fringes. There wasn't much space for comedic performers, but this year many teams are expected to participate," raising expectations.
