On the 31st of last month, Lim Young-woong's fan club, Hero Era, donated 11,766,745 won to the Korean Childhood Cancer Foundation in celebration of the artist's 9th debut anniversary.
'Universal Travel Room' was formed 5 years ago as a music study group with 33 members. Inspired by Lim Young-woong's positive influence, they decided to make the donation in honor of both the 9th anniversary of his debut and the release of his second album.
A representative from 'Universal Travel Room' noted, "We hope that the donation, made with one heart by all members, will be a small help to children with childhood cancer," and added, "We will continue to create a warm world together with Lim Young-woong."
Meanwhile, the Korean Childhood Cancer Foundation expressed gratitude, stating, "We always appreciate that Lim Young-woong's fans are making efforts for children with childhood cancer. The donation will be carefully delivered for the treatment of children suffering from childhood cancer, leukemia, and rare incurable diseases."
On another note, Lim Young-woong will appear in the new SBS variety show 'Island Bachelor Hero' premiering on the 26th. 'Island Bachelor Hero' is a variety show that follows Lim Young-woong as he leaves the city for a journey in a tranquil island village. There is great anticipation for the appearance of 'human Lim Young-woong' as he travels with friends.
