Former rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae revealed the behind-the-scenes of her first meeting with her husband.
On the afternoon of the 31st, a video titled "Son Yeon-jae and her husband's ultra-fast first meeting story♥Exclusive release♥" was uploaded on the 'Son Yeon-jae sonyeonjae' channel.
After putting her young son to sleep and having a late dinner with her husband, Son Yeon-jae said, "While filming today, we talked about our blind date story," and her husband replied, "You were the one who seduced me? I remember it clearly. I remember how you flirted with me. You looked at a book by Kim Whanki and started flirting," he laughed.
Son Yeon-jae asked, "But why didn't you contact me for days after the blind date? Were you thinking you'd never see me again?" Her husband answered, "It was just that, from a man-woman perspective, the situation was a bit different since you were somewhat well-known; it didn't feel like a blind date but more like a meal together. And after asking for a blind date, it took a year for us to meet. I was busy with work, and I kept repeating whether I was dating someone or not, so I didn't really think much about it."
Son Yeon-jae said, "That being said, you worked hard to prepare for the second meeting," and her husband remarked, "At that time, I was trying to flirt. A few days later, I met her and the intermediary said, 'Why haven't you contacted her? Meet her a few more times.'" He mentioned the reason, to which Son Yeon-jae agreed, saying, "Honestly, if it hadn't been for that lady, I don't think we would have gotten married. We both thought, 'If it's not meant to be, then it's not.'"
Recalling their first meeting, Son Yeon-jae said, "On the day of the blind date, he didn't talk to me at all, and I was baffled. I thought to myself, 'I'll just drink some wine and have fun.'" She added, "It's amazing that we ended up getting married."
