Announcer Park Cheol-kyu expressed his determination to take on the role of MC for 'Morning Yard.'
The broadcast of KBS1's 'Morning Yard' on the 1st was styled with the 'Double Party' corner, where Announcer Park Cheol-kyu and singer Kim Soo-chan co-hosted.
Kim Soo-chan said, "There's something to celebrate from the start," and shouted, "Long live Park Cheol-kyu!" Kim Soo-chan asked, "The announcer Park Cheol-kyu, who is hosting 'Double Party,' has taken the spot of Announcer Kim Jae-won. Isn't that burdensome?"
Announcer Park Cheol-kyu joked, "I haven't even entered the main room yet. It's a backyard!" and then expressed gratitude, saying, "All of this is thanks to Kim Soo-chan and 'Double Party.'" Kim Soo-chan noted, "It's true that 'Double Party' has tried to nurture Announcer Park Cheol-kyu."
Announcer Park Cheol-kyu conveyed his determination, saying, "Just being able to be together like this on Fridays makes me happy, but I'm also grateful and worried about greeting you through 'Morning Yard' on weekdays. I am lacking in many ways, so please view me kindly like now. I will do my best to create a vibrant and happy morning."
Meanwhile, Announcer Park Cheol-kyu is scheduled to meet viewers starting from the 4th, teaming up with Announcer Eom Ji-in as a successor to Announcer Kim Jae-won, who left 'Morning Yard' with honorary retirement on the 31st.
The production team stated, "We judged that Announcer Park Cheol-kyu's positive energy and ability to empathize align well with the values pursued by 'Morning Yard,'" and added, "Through the new pairing with the existing MC, Announcer Eom Ji-in, we will provide viewers with a fresher and more beneficial morning."
