SHINee's Key is presenting a new English song with his 3rd regular album 'HUNTER'.
Key's 3rd regular album 'HUNTER' consists of a total of 10 songs across various genres, including the title track 'HUNTER', and all tracks will be released on music sites at 6 p.m. on Aug. 11.
In particular, the album includes 'Strange', an experimental punk rock song that combines various rough-textured synth sounds with distorted vocal sounds, featuring English lyrics that pose questions about human inner feelings, with a vocal that impressively oscillates between a cynical tone and an intense tone, making it a highly anticipated English song that is regarded as a signature of Key's solo albums.
Another new song, 'Picture Frame', is a dance track based on the house genre with glitch vocal chops creating a mystical atmosphere, where dreamy synth instruments harmonize to maximize the refreshing vocals of Key while transitioning freely between beats. The lyrics metaphorically describe the moment of being immersed in strange feelings encountered at the boundary between reality and dreams as a 'frame'.
Additionally, 'Lavender Love' is a pop song enhanced by emotional vocals alongside dreamy synth melodies, conveying warmth by blending precious memories and gratitude towards someone who has been supportive at every moment. The melodic structure, which is easy to sing along to, and the rich chorus intensify the nostalgic and overwhelming emotions.
Moreover, the new teaser image opened on SHINee's official SNS today (1st) captures Key's appearance after transforming into a bizarre entity upon encountering the identity in a horror story, heightening curiosity for the comeback.
Meanwhile, following the release of his 3rd regular album 'HUNTER' on Aug. 11, Key will hold a solo concert '2025 KEYLAND: Uncanny Valley' from Sept. 26 to 28 at the Ticket Link Live Arena in Olympic Park, Seoul, and fan club pre-orders will begin today at 8 p.m. via Melon Ticket, with general sales starting at 8 p.m. on the 4th.
