Actor Lee Jun-hyeok and broadcaster Jang Doyoun will host the opening ceremony of the Jecheon International Music and Film Festival.
On Sept. 4, actor Lee Jun-hyeok and broadcaster Jang Doyoun will jointly host the opening ceremony of the 21st Jecheon International Music and Film Festival (JIMFF, Executive Chairman Jang Hang-jun) held at Jecheon Airport. The meeting of the two, who are responsible for the start of JIMFF, the only music film festival in Asia, is expected to enhance both the dignity and entertainment of the opening ceremony.
Lee Jun-hyeok has built an irreplaceable filmography with a wide acting spectrum, crossing both screens and home theaters. He has been beloved as a trusted actor in various genres with his face embodying both good and evil, shining in every work, including the drama series "Stranger" (2017, 2020), "Designated Survivor: 60 Days" (2019), "365: Accidental Destiny" (2020), "Dark Hole" (2021), "Vigilante" (2023), and the movie series "Along with the Gods" (2017, 2018), along with "Baseball Girl" (2020), "The Outlaws 3" (2023), and "Firefighter" (2024). Notably, he has established a successful spin-off case in "Good or Bad Dong-jae" (2024) and realized the fantasy he dreamed of in reality with "Love Scout" (2025), receiving public love. She has proven her prowess as a host through programs such as "Salon Drip," which sparked discussions with guests due to her natural chemistry, "Radio Star," which adds freshness with her witty talk and stable hosting, "Getaway and Go with Jangdobari" on Netflix, showcasing the essence of friendly progression, and "Story of the Day When You Bite Your Tail," featuring delicate hosting that enhances narrative immersion. Recently, she also starred in the film "Your Country" directed by Lee Ok-seob and Koo Kyo-hwan, where she showcases her melodrama acting, set to be released this year.
The meeting of the two, who previously encountered each other on the YouTube entertainment program "Salon Drip" and sparked discussions in comments and communities, is expected to reveal new aspects of the seasoned MC Jang Doyoun and the versatile actor Lee Jun-hyeok at the JIMFF opening ceremony.
The 21st Jecheon International Music and Film Festival, confirming the hosting by Lee Jun-hyeok and Jang Doyoun, will be held from Sept. 4 to 9 in the Jecheon area. The large-scale opening ceremony at Jecheon Airport, along with a diverse selection of works showcasing global music film trends, will be showcased to the audience. Screenings will take place at Jimff Cinema (formerly Megabox Jecheon), Haso Cultural Center, Jecheon Culture Center, and Jecheon Media Center, while "One Summer Night" will screen at Jecheon Airport, and "JIMFF Special Choice" will take place at Jecheon Arts Center. The "Camping & Music Festival" will be held at Uirimji Solbat Park and Jecheon Airport.
