The 2025 Korean Dream Han River Festival Organizing Committee announced "Korean Dream, O Glory's Light" on the afternoon of the 30th through various music streaming sites in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of liberation.
This song is part of a campaign that promotes the vision of "a unified Republic of Korea that benefits the world widely," featuring the emotional vocal group Son I Ji Yu (Son Seung Yeon, Lee Ye Joon, Ji Se Hee, Yoo Sung Eun) from 'Voice Korea,' who conveyed an inspiring and grand message through music.
This campaign marks its 10th anniversary this year, having started in 2015 with participation from domestic and international stars such as BTS Jungkook, EXO Baekhyun, Peabo Bryson, and In Soon Yi.
The composing and lyric-writing were handled by music director Hong Dae Seong, known for the movies "War on Crime," "The Handmaiden," and "Taxi Driver," as well as the drama "Goblin." The arrangement was done by Kim Dae Hyun, performed by the Seoul Grand Philharmonic Orchestra, with the choir from the Noi Choir and conducted by Seohun, the artistic director, creating a deeply moving stage that blends classical and contemporary music with ethnic sentiment.
This song will be released as Son I Ji Yu's first live performance on the main stage of the '2025 Korean Dream Han River Festival' to be held on August 15 at 7 p.m. at Ttukseom Han River Park in Seoul.
