Singer Yves has previewed an evolved emotional narrative.
Yves today (31st) shared on her official social media the album spoiler and track jacket images featuring highlight audio clips of the songs 'Do you feel it like I touch' and 'Study' from her third EP 'Soft Error'.
The two songs released have built Yves' unique electronic narrative in three-dimensional detail. The included track 'Do you feel it like I touch' is an electronica track layered with sensory sounds over minimal electronic tones, characterized by Yves' vocals that seem distorted like machine sounds. The jacket image captures Yves in a simple all-black outfit, gazing at the camera with an indifferent yet cold expression.
'Study' is a track that captures the emotional emptiness following a failed attempt to systematize emotions with an electronic-based sound. The digital camera Yves is holding appears to overlap with her actual eyes, providing a glimpse into the intentional emotional asymmetry.
Yves' third EP 'Soft Error' explores the keyword 'appearing fine on the outside but broken on the inside', delving into the interplay between human emotions and mechanical fractures. It includes six songs of various genres, including one of the double title tracks 'White Cat', and is expected to showcase Yves' evolved music that transcends the boundaries of vocals, genres, and narratives.
Yves will release her third EP 'Soft Error' on August 7 at noon through various music streaming sites.
