ILLIT member Minju challenges herself to throw the first pitch for the first time after debut.
According to Belift Lab on the 31st, Minju will participate in the home three-game series against the LG Twins and kt wiz, held at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Songpa District, Seoul, at 6:30 p.m. on the same day. Minju will take the mound as a special first pitch thrower wishing for the victory of the LG Twins.
Minju expressed through her agency, "This is my first time throwing the first pitch, so I am very nervous yet excited. Given the wonderful opportunity from the LG Twins, I have prepared hard. I hope my positive energy can be conveyed through the pitch. I will cheer until the end so that the players can have an amazing game."
ILLIT, which Minju is a part of, will officially debut with their first single "Toki Yo Tomare" (original title 時よ止まれ/토키 요 토마레) in Japan on September 1. The title track, which has the same name, is a disco-pop genre that captures the shining moments of youth that one wishes would never end, with playful lyrics written by popular Japanese singer-songwriter Murasaki Ima.
In addition, a total of four tracks will be included, including the track "Topping," the Japanese version of the title track "Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)" from mini album 3 "bomb" (밤), and ILLIT's first original song in Japan "Almond Chocolate," which was released in February and created a reverse run on local charts.
ILLIT will hold a fan concert "2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN JAPAN" before and after their debut in Japan, connecting with local fans. This concert will take place a total of four times at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, on August 10-11 and at Osaka Castle Hall in Osaka on September 3-4. ILLIT proved their strong ticket power by selling out all the general reserved seating tickets early.
