Singer 10CM has returned with their fifth studio album after 7 years and 11 months.
10CM released their fifth studio album '5.0' on the 30th, attracting the attention of music fans. Like the keyword 'music like a convenience store', 10CM infused their unique sensibility that seeps into daily life throughout the album, and it continues to receive favorable reviews with high-quality tracks.
The album artwork, which embodies the theme that the sweetness felt from a piece of lemon cake leads to small happiness in our daily lives, also connects with 'music like a convenience store' that can be reached anytime, clearly completing the concept and message of the album that 10CM aims for.
10CM included a total of 12 songs in their fifth studio album '5.0', including the pre-released track 'Dance (Feat. BIBI)', which garnered attention through its collaboration with BIBI.
In particular, the title track 'Love Is Six Strings', which depicts a confession captured in six guitar strings and its subsequent emptiness through rock sound, and 'Monday Is Coming (Feat. BIG Naughty)', which conveys the daunting feelings and realism of the approaching Monday with 10CM's unique wit and sensitivity, are tracks that represent the album's message.
It also demonstrated an expanded musical spectrum through encounters with various talented artists, including BIG Naughty, Young K, Woozy Hippy, Go Young-bae, and Lee Ji-hyung.
With the album release, 10CM unveiled the music video for the title track 'Love Is Six Strings' and plans to release a music video encompassing all tracks, approximately 47 minutes long, on August 1.
