Lee Sun-young, a KBS announcer, bid a fond farewell as she left the company she had been with for 20 years.
On the 31st, Lee Sun-young wrote on her Instagram, "I have to convey sudden news during my leave of absence. Today, I will be leaving KBS, which has been a part of my life for half of my existence."
Lee Sun-young said, "I am stepping away from the work I loved and moving out of the strong support I had. I plan to try rolling a bit, flying a bit, and taking breaks while I live my life. I will cherish the love I received as a KBS announcer and the warm memories I will hold deep in my heart; I will not forget them for a long time."
She shared, "Back in those days, I ran around frantically, but now that I look back, more warm and grateful memories come to mind than the difficult moments."
In response to the news of Lee Sun-young's resignation, colleagues and acquaintances sent their warm support. Announcer Seo Hyun-jin commented, "Sun-young, you worked hard. Fight for the future!" Broadcaster Shim Jin-hwa said, "This is an emotional moment. I send my applause," while Park Seul-ki encouraged, "I expect your third and fourth acts in life to be even more wonderful."
Meanwhile, Lee Sun-young joined KBS as a class of 2005 announcer and has been active in various programs, including "Entertainment Report," "VJ Special Forces," and "Real Information Network."
