BTS's V revealed his honest beliefs about fan culture at the airport.
Recently, during a live broadcast on the fan community platform Weverse, V said, "The airport isn't ours alone. It's a shared space, and we need to maintain order," speaking calmly but firmly.
He expressed regret that he can no longer greet fans with 'I'll take good care' at the airport as he used to, reminiscing about the times when he could communicate freely with fans.
In particular, V mentioned the 'Purple Line' campaign that was initiated voluntarily by some fans in the past, stating, "I would be very grateful if you could recreate the Purple Line." The 'Purple Line' is a fan-led campaign using BTS's symbolic purple ribbon to ensure the members' safe paths, which has continued since 2018 as a culture of voluntary order among fans.
V remarked, "If that happens, I would be able to think for another 10 minutes about what to wear to the airport," eliciting laughter with his witty comment. He added, "No matter how beautifully I dress, if the photos aren't taken, it doesn't mean anything. If the ARMY maintains good order, then I could wear a suit," conveying a light-hearted yet sincere appeal.
Recently, incidents of disorderly crowds of fans at immigration points have caused discomfort not only for regular passengers but also clashes with security personnel, making V's comments resonate deeply with many fans.
