Comedian Jeong Kyung-mi revealed her current circumstances running an English musical academy in Songdo, Incheon.
Jeong Kyung-mi appeared in a video titled "The house full of Daesang in Songdo, where Jang Young-ran, motivated by her pregnancy, stopped by" which was uploaded on the YouTube channel "A-level Jang Young-ran" on the 30th. Jeong Kyung-mi, who took Jang Young-ran to an academy, noted, "It's shabby, but it's my new establishment. It's an English musical academy that doesn't suit me. I became the head of the English musical academy."
After looking around the academy, which is decorated with large windows that secure natural light, Jang Young-ran said, "I succeeded. The view is great," adding, "I keep wondering what to post on social media (SNS) because my son thought I was just about English. He didn't see the text and didn't know you were here."
Jeong Kyung-mi mentioned, "I can't speak English. Much better teachers than me teach the kids," and added, "I'm only managing instead of teaching classes." She also said, "Nowadays, when I ask friends to introduce themselves, they can't. Just being able to say, 'I am Kyung-mi, [age]' while looking straight ahead helps with self-expression and enables them to confidently present themselves in front of others, which is really good for their development process," and noted, "I thought, 'What can I do to appeal more to parents?' and English came to mind."
Jeong Kyung-mi also expressed, "There are times I think, is what I've done until now the end point?" and said, "For 20 years in broadcasting, we were always tense. Coming here, that tension is gone." She continued, "Taking care of kids gives me energy, planning is fun, and coming here is happiness."
